TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the detail that matters. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
